Friday was cool. I went into Oxford Circus, then to the Apple Store in Regent’s Street. This store is amazing… so many Macs… and free internet too. I go there to drool over the new MacBooks. From there went to Charing Cross to a place called First Out. It was interesting, lots of pretty women. The venue is quite small though. Didn’t stay there very long. Walked around Soho and took in the smells of Chinese and thai food. Lovely! Can’t wait for my first pay cheque, going to spoil myself with delicious food. Unlike in SA, salmon is very…

I can’t believe that it’s going into my fourth week here. The days this week have been quiet but stressful. I wake each morning hopeful that an agent will call with some good news. They have been calling, mostly to ask me if it is ok to send my CV through to their clients for their vacancies. Anyway, just cross thumbs for me all you people who love me out there and pray pray and hope =) Life in my little room (which I have to mention is smaller than my res room) is cosy. The best food I’ve had to date in London (besides the food that I cook) is curry from a restuarant in Brick Lane called Shampan. It was reasonably priced and delicious and I can’t wait to go back there some time soon. Pizza Hut is also very good, except that its quite expensive. Have yet to have fish and chips here or any of the local…

The house is close to the tube station, actually it is practically opposite the tube station. At the time, there was…

Most of my time during work hours was just a complete disaster, I think they were glad to see me off, being so miserable and depressed and crying. Departure for London was set for beginning of May. I did try changing my flight date just to avoid the awkwardness at the airport with the families and her new girlfriend. But that turned out to be a…
