Yesterday was crazy at work. I got in at 8 as I am on the 8-4pm shift this week. Normally there would be about 4 of us in my team.  2 people have been on leave for the past 2 weeks so it has just been myself and another guy. I've only been here about a month and still getting clued up with the procedures and the way things are done here. Oh well, so the guy was off sick yesterday leaving me alone to cover the Moorgate office till 5pm.  I did quite well considering.

The London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival has been on for the past 2 weeks or so and I only managed to go and see one film since it started, which was last night. The film ws called Daughters of Chiquita. Short documentary film. 2.5 out of 5. Today is the last day of the festival.

Oh yes, I knew there was something I wanted to put in here when I started this post. 3 weeks ago I booked tickets to Paris for the last weekend in April, to celebrate my birthday which is for the first time in my life not going to be a public holiday. Planned to go with Nirven, but he's been having problems getting to the embassy in Dublin from Cork to apply for his visa. I got mine yesterday! yay!!! Just need to collect my passport now. So it looks like I will be going alone, which I know is not that bad, but I do enjoy company when travelling and Nirven would have made an excellent travel companion.
